Halal, no exceptions

Meat, marinade and equipment. Not a stamp added at packing. If it should be halal, it is.

A good life first

A poorly kept animal is not made good by a certificate. Kindness in life is part of the product.

Healthy by design

High protein, short recipes, small batches. Real food for work, the gym, or the road — not a sweet snack in disguise.

Why this standard

Why halal means a better life for the animal

In our faith the animal is a trust — not a unit on a line. The Prophet taught that God has prescribed excellence and care in all things: if you take an animal for food, do it well; keep the blade sharp and spare the animal suffering.

That duty does not start at the knife. A sincere process expects a healthy animal, water, calm handling, and no cruelty on the way there. Meat taken with gratitude is not wasted and not cheapened. That is why we source and make the way we do.

Fed and cared for

Proper feed and handling. Neglected stock has no place in this kitchen.

Handled with excellence

Calm, not terrified. Sharp, not careless. Suffering is not a shortcut.

Taken with thanks

No waste, no "any meat will do." A blessing treated as a blessing.

We do not claim every "halal" label on the market equals high welfare. This is our standard — faith, care and health in one product. What is Halal

Carata Style Beef Jerky

Carata Style Beef Jerky

Slow-cured prime cut beef

Prime cuts trimmed of almost all fat, then soaked and massaged into an intense, layered marinade. Slow cooked until the chew gives way to a lingering richness. This is not a snack you forget. Carata's BBQ and Chilli Lemon are the family favourites

From £3 · 45–50g protein per 100g

Chicken Protein Crisps

Chicken Protein Crisps

100% chicken · thin, shattering flakes

Thinly sliced, marinated chicken breast, carefully dehydrated to create a fibrous crunch that shatters with every bite. Packed with bold flavour and protein, each variety offers a deeply satisfying, healthier alternative to traditional crisps.

From £3.25 · 68–80g protein per 100g

Root Vegetable Crisps

Root Vegetable Crisps

Sliced & baked root veg · naturally light

We slice real parsnip, beetroot, sweet potato and carrot, dry them slowly, and finish them until they crunch. Two ingredients: the roots, and sea salt. No added oil, no flour, no fillers, nothing artificial. It's light, simple, and sweet because the root is sweet.

From £1.85 · 8–10g protein per 100g

Chicken Crackling

Chicken Crackling

Ultra crispy · rich savoury crunch

Chicken skin blasted with heat until the fat renders away, then dried further until the crackle is almost architectural. Light as air, loud as thunder, and loaded with flavour.

From £2 · 30–37g protein per 100g

Veggie Protein Crisps

Veggie Protein Crisps

defatted soy & chickpea

The same shattering crunch, built entirely from plants. Soybean and chickpea flour, both naturally rich in protein, shaped into a tortilla and baked. No artificial preservative, no added sugars, no compromise.

From £1.75 · 32–36g protein per 100g

What's coming next

The snacks on the menu now are the start. Next we are building out the cupboard — bars you can eat on a shift, fruit that actually travels, and a wider range of crunchy meats and vegetables.

Health bars

Proper food in bar form — high protein, short recipes, no candy-bar disguise. Something you can eat between a 12-hour shift and a walk, without wrecking the day's food.

Fruit snacks

Dried fruit done as a snack, not a sweet. Chewy pieces and fruit crisps with the same clean-ingredient rule: real fruit, honest labels, long shelf life.

More crunch, more range

More crispy meats beyond jerky and crackling, and more vegetables than the current crisps — different cuts, different plants, the same shatter. Variety without watering down the standard.

We make it properly. We price it fairly. We give a share away.
